Cemlyn is The Premier Tea Shop in Harlech, and indeed in North Wales, providing Stunning Views of Harlech Castle, Royal St David's Golf Course, the Mountains and the Sea.
Renowned for stocking a very wide variety of Teas, Cemlyn offers all of its Teas loose leafed (not bagged) ranging from the well known Breakfast and Traditional Afternoon, to Indian Teas such as Assam, Darjeeling and Nilgiri. We also serve Teas from the Far East such as Formosa Oolong, Lapsang Souchong, Keemun etc. Black Teas, Green Teas, Fragrant Teas such as Earl Grey. Ask about our Cemlyn Mix, and Teas from Sri Lanka, Africa, China and Japan.
Our current range of Fruit Infusions include:- Apple and Lemon, Blood Orange, and Kiwi and Strawberry. Herbal Teas are also included such as Peppermint, Nettle, and Chamomile.
You will be served the very best Italian Style coffee - Espresso, Cappuccino, Mocha, Latte etc made from the best quality Segafredo extra strong coffee beans or you could choose our Guest Coffee which changes every few weeks.
We have an interesting range of wines from around the world, Bitburger German Pilsner is available and also Beers from the Purple Moose Micro Brewery in Porthmadog.
All our own food is made on the premises from scones and tea cakes to Hand-Made bread. You can be assured that your Cream Tea will be served with only the very best local Welsh cream, not that 'squirty stuff' that comes in aerosols.
From Mid-March to October we are open from 10.30am until 5pm, closed Mondays and Tuesdays (except Bank Holiday Mondays) and also serve light lunches and snacks etc.
There is even an opportunity to indulge in some Retail Therapy with some very special Teas and Coffees available for you to take home as well as locally made preserves and chutneys, a collection of Holiday Books as well as Tea Pots for sale, and interesting Artworks.
Tables are available on our Sun Terrace during opening times, although we have equally good views from inside. Well behaved dogs are welcome on the terrace.
The whole of Cemlyn is 'Non Smoking' - this includes the rear terrace and Bedrooms.
